wrapping the season

We had some tickets to use up and hit the last game of the baseball season to support our Braves.

Cooper loved the big screen on the way out. Oh fall nights at the ball field.

camping part deux

We took the fam out for another camping trip now that the temp is a tad cooler (than when we went in June).

We went with Steve's whole family this time up to Fort Mountain, GA where there is this ancient 855-foot-long rock wall which stands on the highest point of the mountain believed to be built around 500AD.

Also on part of our hike we saw the Fire Tower ruins.

The whole Clark Family (minus one brother).

And the funny pic

The Kelley kids in action, love these.

Steve and Me, his sister's family, and his brother and girlfrirend

The view from the top overlooking the valley.

Back to camp, quite the pleasant fall afternoon.

party-cooper

This little boy has brought us more smiles than we even thought possible. We were excited to have a little family party for him with his 3 cousins.

Let's eat cake!

Punching ballons, who doesn't love these?

Coloring robots

Opening presents, he was excited with big eyes.

The gifts from the grandparents and aunts & uncles.

Trying out his new Buzz car - with lots of buttons.

The ballon drop (from our loft), also a hit.

had to sneak in a family photo

the robot has landed

These lovely wind-up robots from Target for $4 were the party inspiration.

Invites - fold out to reveal the info

The decor

The cake - an ice cream cake from Baskin Robbins that I decorated to match the theme

The Loot for each kid

one year later

Cooper woke up to a new car seat and new books for his birthday. He looks thrilled right?

Dear Zoo immediately became his favorite new book.

Checking out the party favors for later, he loves the robot walking.

A favorite of Cooper's, breakfast smoothies.

And more stories with Dad, he is loving books lately.

the tail of the dragon

Steve and his Dad took an overnighter to ride the "Tail of the Dragon" again. These two were in biker heaven and always have so much fun on these trips together. I am glad they could have some quality man-time. I am always more glad for their safe return.

And as jealous as you might be, these were our awesome souvies - me, a bear claw necklace; and Cooper, his first sling shot racoon carved out of wood.
