From this back in 2000...

...to this, all married and new babies within a month of each other - Kristen in August, me in September, and Emily in October. My best friend Ems came to see me for an overdue meetup. I hadn't seen her since she got married 2.5 years ago and we just had to see each other, it was time. We missed Kristen on this trip (#3 for her with baby Abby) but Emily and me were so glad to get together.

Especially because we had to introduce our new little babes to each other, Cooper meet Caroline.

These two had so much fun playing and grabbing each other over the few days. You could say they had a thing for one another ;)

I mean you can't deny the fact they are best friends like their moms already.

Caroline was even clapping already, she was just a little doll.

We strolled the botanical gardens and this was the new edible garden area.

A whole wall of herbs in a geometric pattern, so cool. Am I the only one that likes this stuff?

Just a little plug for my friend's company the we collective by nicole larue. Cooper was finally able to fit into this cute onesie she sent him along with some other fun surprises and I had to post him in his diggs.
She does amazing illustration work and is one of my greatest friends from our graphic design program at BYU. Cooper is rockin the owls pretty well I think.

Becoming a mom has become a new life to now teach my kid(s) the great things in life I learned from my parents. Life couldn't be any better than this. happy mothers day.

If any of you have watched The Hills or The City before you may have heard of the no-nonsense Kelly Cutrone from People's Revolution. Would you want to work for her? I know, that was kind of me too. But I heard she was going to be doing a book signing at our Borders and thought she may be pretty interesting to hear speak. So Coop's and me took off to Buckhead for a full house of twenty-somethings to fifty-somethings. It was a fun few hours and after the event I picked up her book, sold.

Back in Atlanta now, our Botanical Gardens were BOGO admission on Earth Day so we met up with Marissa and McKenzie for some earth celebration.
Cooper thought this was a real treat ;) two gardens in one week!

Always one of my favorite things, we made a visit to the Desert Botanical Gardens which included some sweet sculptures by Dale Chihuly.
