Steve's mom has a stocking for every member of the family hanging on her mantle. She made each one, I just love them.
Cooper with his new stocking.
Steve and me were also in our BYU gear for the BYU vs Utah game. Go Cougs!

Thanksgiving was spent with the Clarks this year and we had quite the table. I must say my favorite thing is sweet potatoes. I had two servings.
Cooper loved the turkey.

blessed in white

The main reason for the parental visit was to attend Cooper's blessing. It was his big day and he did so good. I think he knew it was his special day.

Grandpa and Grandma Olson
Steve wanted to match Cooper in his comfy clothes after church. These two love each other.
Later that evening we went to the park to enjoy the fall weather. I loved all these pics of Coop with Grandma.

serendipatiousness

We spent Saturday morning at the Silver Comet Trail doing a nice 5k walk/jog, back to exercise for me. Cooper loved the stroll in his jammies.

The afternoon my mom and me spent making food for Sunday brunch and the guys all watched football. Cooper loved playing with grandpa.

Now for the dessert of the evening - FRRROOZENNN HOT CHOCOLATE!
I used a slightly different recipe than shown on the link above but pretty much you can't go wrong.
"It's famous, it's infamous, it's notorious. It has destroyed diets and led to love affairs. Marriages have been proposed over it, couples have been wed in it, princes have been made from it. People have traveled from all corners of the world for just one sip of our creamy, dreamy, icy blend of chocolatey goodness." (epicurious)
I think they all liked it.

bama and back

We had the parentals in town to hang with Mr. Cooper and the first day my mom requested a road trip to Birmingham, Alabama to visit her brother. We made a quick stop by the temple there to check it out.

If you are ever in the area I suggest Full Moon BBQ. We ate there for dinner and it was the bomb! I loved the big moon on the building.
This was my meal, mmmmm.

they're here!

Grandma and Grandpa Olson came to visit Mr. Cooper for a week in November. He was excited to say the least.

weekend in italy

Well not quite but hopefully someday. We spent a wedding weekend in Orlando for Steve's friend Ben's wedding. Steve was asked to be a groomsman so we made the trek to Orlando.

It was fun dressing up the little man.
